Emergency work's being carried out in Pitenweem to restabalise a coastal wall that collapsed due to Storm Babet.
It's behind homes on Abbey Wall Road and The Gyles.
A crane's in place and will install concrete blocks to protect the now exposed historically listed properties.
It's due to be complete early next week.
Fife Council's spokesperson for transportation, Altany Craik said: “The council is working towards developing a long-term solution to the storm damage.
“In the meantime, this is a much-needed temporary repair that should provide adequate coastal protection throughout the winter and beyond.”
