A grandmother has died in a two-vehicle crash on the A92 in the Kingdom.
71-year-old Elizabeth Herd was killed after her Ford Ka collided with a red curtain-sided lorry, the crash happened near the Lochgelly junction of the road at around 10.25am yesterday.
A family spokesperson said: "She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.''
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Andy Mather said: "The A92 was particularly busy in both directions on Saturday morning.
"Although several witnesses have already approached my officers and provided statements, there may be many more who could also hold vital evidence which can assist our enquiry.
"We are appealing to those persons to get in touch with Police Scotland by calling 101, so we can progress our investigation into this tragic collision.''
