Wind Turbines `Won't Fill Council Coffers`

Campaigners say council plans for wind turbines won't raise anywhere near the amount of money as promised.

Proposals include erecting the structures at Pitreavie Playing Fields, Halbeath Park and Ride and Cotlands Park in Kennoway and major landfills.

The local authority estimates the project could generate up to £11.75M.

But Suzanne Turner from anti-turbine group SPOT Fife says that's based on industry standard figures.
