Fife Flyers have confirmed Jamie Wilson will return to the line up for the forthcoming season.
The 28-year-old forward and defenceman has been part of the roster since the BNL days in 2003/4. The 6’ft 200lbs left handed Scot will be called upon when needed to help out his team mates.
Wilson said: “I am delighted to be back playing another season in Fife.”
“I think last season had its highs and lows but I am certainly excited for the upcoming season. I know all the local lads have been working hard on fitness in the off season so hopefully this pays off and we get off to a great start, which will hopefully lead to a successful season ahead.”
Flyers Associate Coach Danny Stewart added "When Jamie is using his size and keeping things simple he is much more effective. Last season he battled consistently with this and he is fully aware of where he needs to be in order to compete for ice time.”
“Jamie is an important guy on our squad and in the room and we are delighted to have him back"
