Hundreds of pubs across Fife are at risk of having their licenses revoked for five years.
1878 landlords were required to complete a licence refresher training course by 31st August 2014.
According to figures, 1112 completed applications were received by 30th November 2014, meaning 766 pubs are at risk of being closed down because they've failed to submit.
Fife Council says it's in the process of phoning all affected premises giving them until this Friday to complete the training. Those who fail to do so will be advised to surrender their personal licence and re-apply for a new one.
