Police in Fife are stepping up patrols to curb underage drinking before the summer holidays.
Officers in Cowdenbeath are speaking to licensed premises to remind them not to sell to underagers or anyone who could be buying on behalf of a youngster.
It comes after a 57-year-old was charged with allegedly selling alcohol to an under 18 in the town.
Local Community Inspector Hannah Morrison said they are committed to keeping communities safe, and will take"robust action" against those who put the safety of young people at risk.
