Staff at Together Levenmouth are preparing to reopen their facility almost a year after a fire at the Poundstretcher store next door.
The hub, which opened last April, was damaged last November following a fire at the neighbouring High Street shop, and has been closed until safety work could be completed.
An insurance issue prevented it from opening sooner, but it's now set to open its doors again on October 7.
The Poundstretcher store has been demolished and neighbouring businesses closed until safety work was complete.
To mark the occasion, they’ve lined up a day of discounts, prizes, DJs and magicians to ensure a party atmosphere.
Jai McVey, its sales and marketing manager, says he can't wait to get back in and open the facility to the public once again.
There's been a lot of work done to the building, which had water damage and damage to the roof as a result of last year's blaze.
Jai says there's a new feel about the place:
Together Levenmouth has had to operate out of other buildings in Leven, including Truth nightclub, to ensure its services can continue.
Jai says being shut has had an impact on its service users who are delighted its moving home.
He explains how much it means to some of the people who use it.
