Scots should be allowed a second vote for independence if the UK votes to leave the EU, according to a neutral think-tank.
European Movement in Scotland says polls show people here are more in favour of staying in Europe than those down south.
The Conservatives have promised a referendum on the EU if they win next year's General Election, while Labour haven't ruled one out.
Derek Hammersley, Chairman of European Movement in Scotland said:
“This is absolutely not about the approaching independence referendum.
"It is instead about whether strongly held views in other parts of the UK should affect Scotland’s constitutional position within the EU.
"We have members who will value membership of the UK more than membership of the EU should this situation arise and vice versa.
"What we all agree on is that such a significant constitutional change as the UK quitting the EU would require Scots revisiting the issue of their relationship with their neighbours on this island.”
