The First Minister will outline what more needs to be done in Scotland to reduce domestic violence.
Nicola Sturgeon will join the UN representative for violence against women, Professor Rashida Manjoo, at a conference in Edinburgh.
She's due to outline Holyrood's position on violence against women and girls.
The event, hosted by Scottish Women's Aid (SWA), will look at the achievements in women's rights over the last 20 years.
