Naval workers are preparing for possible strike action.
Around 800 at Faslane and Coulport will take part in mass meetings today to discuss industrial action. They claim a 1-percent pay offer from Babcock equates to a real-terms pay cut. Their union Unite is pushing the company to provide evidence following claims that the offer is a result of MoD contractual stipulations.
