The Scottish Conservatives are defending their policies following two energy blows for Scotland.

The Scottish Government is blaming Westminster for not addressing the disparity in transmission charges between Scotland and the rest of the UK. But the Conservatives say Scotland is over-generating electricity, and that wind farms are to blame.
Green energy campaigners have already attacked the Tories for scrapping the subsidies. They say it could affect jobs and suppliers for windfarms across Scotland and ultimately damage the economy.
The Scottish Government deny that electricity generation targets have been hit, or that the country is producing too much energy.
