There's going to be closures on the A92 from tonight (Sunday).
It's to allow for barriers to be installed and resurfacing work.
There'll be lane closures on the eastbound carriageway at Cowdenbeath overnight from 7.30pm until Friday.
Slip roads at Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly will also be shut. There's diversions in place.
The project's costing £618,000 and being carried out by Amey.
There'll be a break for the bank holiday weekend and more work done under contraflow from May 10 to 13.
Further overnight lane closures will be in place between 7.30pm and 6.30am on May 13 to remove the contraflow.
A spokesperson for Amey says: "The resurfacing will benefit more than 16,000 vehicles who use this route each day, creating a smoother ride for motorists and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance."
