Locals are getting the chance to have their say on proposals for the controversial Cupar North development.

Public consultation's opened for the planning applications for almost 15 hundred homes and two new roundabouts.

It's taking place over eight weeks, compared to the usual 30 days, because of the scale of the project.

Almost 500 people objected to the proposal in 2022 before it was amended, with concerns raised about potential flooding, school capacity issues and traffic congestion.

But developers say it will help tackle Fife’s housing emergency.

The consultation period will end on June 29.
