Police think home break ins in St Andrews are linked

Police believe a number of house break ins which happened in St Andrews last night are linked.

The incidents occurred on Berry Place, Learmonth Place and Crawford Gardens between 5pm and 9pm.

Cash and jewellery were stolen, but officers say this sort of crime is relatively rare.

The advice for residents is to lock doors and windows, as well as be vigilant.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
