Police in Fife are looking for two young boys who prevented a theft at a Kirkcaldy leisure centre.
An attempt was made to steal belongings from an insecure locker at the swimming pool at the Esplanade in Kirkcaldy on the 20th September.
The quick intervention of the two boys - who are believed to be around 11 years old - meant the items were recovered quickly.
Sergeant Jimmy Adamson said: "Thanks to the prompt actions of these two boys, the theft was quickly reported and the items were recovered. Unfortunately they both left before police arrived, and we are keen speak to them, firstly to thank them for their assistance and secondly to see if they may also be able to assist with our enquiries."
Officers are keen to pass on their thanks - anyone who thinks they know the boys are asked to call police on 101.
