Police renew appeal for information over killing of chickens at a Lochgelly farm

Police say they are still carrying out an investigation into the theft and killing of chickens at a Lochgelly farm.

The incident happened overnight at Easter Cartmore Farm between Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May.

A number of dead chickens were left in gardens and driveways at nearby properties.

Officers say they are following a positive line of enquiry, but they are asking for more information.

They are asking anyone who has CCTV footage in the area to contact them.

Sergeant Donald Sutherland from Cowdenbeath Police Station said: "Our enquiries are ongoing and we would ask anyone with CCTV footage in the area or who may have information that could assist with our investigation to contact police."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0865 of Sunday 3 May.
