Police say there appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man's body in a Dunfermline park yesterday.
The 47-year-old was found in a stream in Pittencrieff Park at around 6:45am.
Witnesses reported a major police presence, including forensic officers, throughout yesterday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 6.45am yesterday, officers were called to Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline, after the body of a 47-year-old man was found in a stream.
"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
