A new ferry service between Fife and East Lothian will bring more visitors to the Kingdom at one of Scotland's busiest tourist periods.
The Anstruther to North Berwick service will start running in August, as tourists flock to the Capital for the Festival. Run by Seafari Adventures, it is hoped the 45-minute crossing will bring a slice of Edinburgh's tourism boom here. It will launch on August 7th, running for at least a month before deciding on the viability of the service becoming permanent.
The company has received finding from SEStran, a partnership of eight local councils covering the Borders, Clackmannanshire, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian, Edinburgh, Falkirk and Fife.
