Police in Fife have arrested a teenager in Methil as part of their efforts to crack down on antisocial behaviour involving quad and motor bikes.

The 18 year old male was charged for driving an off-road motorcycle on a public road.

He has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for being disqualified, uninsured and not wearing a helmet.

Sergeant Robert Gassner said: “Operation Reflector continues to address the problem and detect people who drive off road motorcycles illegally.

“We will continue to resource this initiative and we have both uniform and plain-clothes officers in areas to detect offenders. People engaged in this type of activity are a danger to themselves and also members of the public."

Officers are warning constant offenders that they can be imprisoned.
