Transport police in Fife have released CCTV pictures of a man they say could help them following an assault at Kirkcaldy train station.
The incident took place just before midnight on Saturday the 12th of September.
The victim had just stepped off the 23.08 Edinburgh Waverley to Dundee service.
Police say the person they are seeking was of medium build with light brown hair, and was wearing a light blue top, an orange jumper and jeans.
Detective Constable Paul Farquhar, the BTP the officer in charge of the enquiry, said: "I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man shown in the photographs to contact me as a matter of urgency."
