Man rescued from Forth south of Burntisland

A man has been rescued from the Firth of Forth south of Burntisland.

The RNLI in Kinghorn told Kingdom FM that it was alerted at around 10am to reports of a man being overboard from a vessel.

The crew recovered the man and gave him care while transporting him to Burntisland harbour.

He was handed over to the Scottish Ambulance Service.

A coastguard helicopter was also called to the scene.
