A 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with the attempted murder of a woman, 23, in Cowdenbeath.
The incident happened in woodland near to Broad Street in the town on Sunday.
Police were called to Woodend Community Woodland at around 6pm.
The man is scheduled to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today.
