A 47 year old motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Buckhaven.
An air ambulance was among the emergency service vehicles called to Sandwell Street yesterday evening.
The road was closed to allow for an investigation to be carried out before reopening at 6.45pm.
The police investigation continues.
Inspector James Henry, of Fife Road Policing, said: “Around 4.40pm on Sunday, August 4, 2024 we were called to a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Sandwell Street, Buckhaven.
“Emergency services attended and the 47-year-old male rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The road was closed while investigations were carried out and reopened around 6.45pm.
“Inquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
