Man, 44, seriously injured in hospital after crash between Comrie and Rosyth

A 44-year-old man's seriously injured in hospital after a crash between Crombie and Rosyth yesterday (Wednesday).

It happened on the A985 at about 3.40pm, and involved a silver Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade motorbike.

The man's being treated at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

The road was closed for six hours. it reopened at 9.35pm

Police ask anyone with information to come forward.

Sergeant Allan Russell said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and anyone with information, including dash-cam footage, that could assist with our enquiries are asked to get in touch.”

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2234 of Wednesday, 1 May, 2024.
