A man has died after being hit by a car in Dunfermline.
A white Mercedes Benz A-Class drove out of St Margaret Street car park at around 9.50pm yesterday, where it collided with the 33-year-old and stopped.
Emergency services attended, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Nicola Young, of the road policing unit, said: "We're appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
"We're also specifically appealing to a person who spoke to the driver just after the incident happened."
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 3744 of February 19.
