London North Eastern Railway is urging customers and organisations close to its route in Fife to apply for the Customer and Community Investment Fund before this month's deadline.
Applications are being accepted only until 31 July, with the fund supporting projects where there is an identified social need and that focus on mental health, education and employability skills amongst marginalised groups within 15 miles of the rail operator's route.
LNER trains stop in Fife at Leuchars, Kirkcaldy and Inverkeithing.
The fund has already supported projects in Scotland, including within the Kingdom.
