Scotland’s Liberal Democrats are confident of holding on to their eleven MPs in next May’s General Election.
Fife MSP Willie Rennie was speaking after the SNP announced its membership had soared past the 90,000 mark - up from 25-thousand before the referendum.
The party's share of the vote has collapsed since forming a coalition government with the Conservatives in 2010.
Traditionally safe seats such as Sir Menzies Campbell's North East Fife and Alistair Carmichael's Orkney and Shetland, are held by MPs who are not standing in next year's General Election.
Meanwhile the Lib Dems have lost their deposit in 11 by-elections in this parliamentary term, including in Cowdenbeath.
