Kirkcaldy Death Probe

Police in Kirkcaldy say they're continuing to investigate the death of a local woman.

Jennifer Edwards, who was 45, was found dead at her home in Deas Whark on the 14th June.

Her death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are continuing.

Police are appealing for information regarding any last sightings of her particularly between the 9th and 13th of June.

Officers say they're also keen to speak to any of her sport massage therapy clients who may have visited her during that timeframe.

Detective Inspector David Pinkney said:  “We are still working to establish the full circumstances of Jennifer’s death and are eager to gather as much information as possible. 

“Anyone with information regarding Jennifer’s last days is asked to contact police immediately.”

Jennifer's family issued the following statement: “We are devastated by the loss of Jennifer, who was a much loved mother, daughter and sister.  She was an intelligent and talented musician and sports therapist who has traveled the world with her gift.

"We are supportive of Police Scotland’s investigation into the circumstances of Jennifer’s death.

"We also ask that our privacy be respected at this difficult time”.
