The mum of a three-year-old boy - who killed him and hid his body in a garden in Kirkcaldy - has been released from prison.
Rosdeep Adekoya was sentenced to 11 years behind bars for the 2014 killing of Mikaeel Kular, from Edinburgh.
His body was found in a suitcase after the youngster had been reported missing.
Reports now say that Adekoya has been released from jail, seven years into her sentence.
A huge search operation was launched to help find Mikaeel after Adekoya told police he had vanished from their home in the capital's Drylaw area.
But it transpired she had beaten the youngster to death, before concealing his body inside a suitcase and dumping it near a relative's home in Kirkcaldy.
She admitted a reduced charge of culpable homicide when the case went to court.
