Heart of Midlothian FC have agreed terms with Raith Rovers striker Jon Daly to become their new U20s coach.
Daly will take up his new role when his contract with the Rovers expires in January.
He signed for Raith in August after being released by Championship rivals Rangers at the end of last season.
The former Dundee United forward has made 11 appearances and scored once for the Kirkcaldy side.
The 32 year old is a replacement for Jack Ross, who left the post in October.
Hearts’ Director of Football Craig Levein said: “I’m delighted that Jon has agreed to join the club in January and take up the post of U20s coach. Jon is somebody that both myself and Robbie know from our respective times at Dundee United and it’s an exciting appointment. We believe he has all the attributes to develop into a great coach and we look forward to welcoming him in January.”
