There are fears a scheme to get young people into work and apprenticeships across Fife will run out of cash.
The SNP will press the Labour-led administration today to mainstream funding to make sure every young person can access support when needed.
It's claimed 70% of the budget is already committed up until 2016.
Here's Councillor Douglas Chapman:
Tony Martin, Chair of Opportunites Fife and Fife Council Youth Ambassador, says he's confident the scheme will continue:
It's estimated approximately 400 teenagers leave school every year in Fife with no plans for the future.
Councillor Martin says his biggest concern is encouraging those youngsters and giving them support.
He says, with the economy now picking up, the remaining £2 million should be spent on those most in need.
