Former Glenrothes College student becomes voice of US Open Tennis

ESPN commentator, Mark Donaldson, learned his trade on the HND in TV and Radio in the late 90s.

With Novak Djokovic picking up his 24th Grand Slam title, Mark's just wrapping up his 13th year of coverage of the US Open at Flushing Meadows for ESPN's TV channels around the world.

Originally from Penicuik, Mark embarked on the HND broadcasting course at Glenrothes College, as it was known then, in 1996.

He's now based in Connecticut where he's an all round sports broadcaster for the network, turning his hand to baseball, football and tennis.

Mark attributes his success to hard work, and being willing to take on any challenge, and role required, to build up his experience.
