We're being warned of flooding and power cuts as heavy rain batters the Kingdom.

A yellow warning is in place until tomorrow morning (Wednesday) at 9am, bringing with it as much as much as 40 millimetres on certain parts.

It's also just been extended, from central and eastern parts to now covering the whole of Fife.

A flood alert's also been issued by Sepa.

It says: “Heavy showers or longer spells of rain on Tuesday through into early on Wednesday could lead to localised flooding from rivers and surface water.

“The highest risk is in eastern areas. Any impacts are most likely to include localised flooding to low-lying land and roads but localised property flooding is also possible.”

People are being told to prepare and get a plan in place if their home is susceptible to flooding.

The Met Office also includes the risk of power cuts due to the weather.

Fifers are being told to take care on the roads, check conditions and change plans if needed.

As well as online there'll be regular travel updates on air on Kingdom FM.
