People in Fife are being given the chance to try out curling at the Fife Ice Arena in Kirkcaldy tonight.
On National Curling Day, the venue is hosting a game that people can watch and even try playing the sport if they are interested.
The event is running between 5.30pm to 7.30pm and is open to all ages and abilities.
There are also "Family Try Curling" sessions this evening between 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Other ice rinks across Scotland are holding a similar event on this date (15/11/2021), with the year 1511 being the first when a game of curling was played.
Maggie Wilson, the Head of Development at Scottish Curling, said: "We’re dedicated to showcasing the sport to new audiences and hopefully getting more local people involved in the sport.
"Whether you have your first taste of the sport at primary school or as a new hobby in retirement curling has something for all ages and ability.
"I'd encourage all local people to visit www.trycurling.com and take your first step to becoming a curler."
Anyone interested in going to the event at the Fife Ice Arena in Kirkcaldy is asked to visit the Try Curling website (link in the previous line).
