Fife is helping to drive "the revival of British manufacturing", according to the UK Energy Minister.
Michael Fallon made the claims while visiting BiFab's plant in Methil, where four offshore oil rig jackets are being built.
That £47million project is one of many that have helped grow the firm's staff from 400 to 2000 within four years.
