Fife has the highest percentage of underage regular smokers in Scotland.
Figures from a Scottish Schools Adolescent Lifestyle and Substance Use Survey show more than 7.6% of 13 to 15 year olds in the Kingdom have taken up the habit, with a fifth of them buying cigarettes in shops.
Fife Council's launched an action plan to reduce the rate, and says there was a 27% reduction in children smoking between 2010 and 2013.
