The Fife Flyers are preparing for their next meeting with rivals Dundee Stars.
The two first met in pre-season last month, which saw the Flyers lose 3-2 in the first match but bounce back the following day for a 4-0 victory.
The two play again this weekend in the penultimate group matches of the Challenge Cup and it is all to play for.
And this year's captain and assistants have also been revealed.
Jonas Emmerdahl returns for a second stint as captain and will once again wear the C on his shirt.
Kyle Osterberg, Anthon Eriksson, and Collin Shirley will serve as Assistant Captains.
Coach Tom Coolen spoke to our news reporter Emma Duncan ahead of this weekend's showdown and on the new leadership team.
Tom explains the reason behind his decision.
Jonas said: “It’s an honour to be selected as captain again. We have a lot of guys in our team with great leadership qualities and a hunger to do whatever it takes to win. We will all lead and contribute in our own ways. I will do my best on and off the ice to help the organisation and my teammates to have a successful and fun season.”
Tom Coolen: “Our group has a combined past of successful experiences which will surely assist in supporting their teammates through the rigours of a challenging EIHL season.”
He is hoping that in this weekend's two matches against Dundee the squad can improve on what he described "a successful first weekend", which Tom explains would have saw the Flyers come away with 6 points to the Stars' 2.
There has been a great buzz around the Flyers from fans, who are excited at the new era that's upon the squad and the performance they've put on the ice so far,
Tom says the team are looking to build on their great run so far, winning their first game of the league to place them 4th and sees them sitting 2nd in their group in the Challenge Cup.
When looking to this weekend's two matches, Tom says the team need to be ready for a battle against their rivals.
He says the team played well last weekend against last year's grand slam champions Belfast but can do better. The Flyers lost last weekend's match 1-0. The next day they bet Coventry 6-4 in their first match of the league.
