Fife fans gear up for Scotland's Euro 2020 bow

Fans across Fife are gearing up for Scotland's first fixture of Euro 2020 later - as the men's national side play at their first major tournament for 23 years.

Steve Clarke's side face the Czech Republic in their opening group game in front of about 12,000 fans at Hampden Park.

They last played at a major tournament at the World Cup in France in 1998 - when many of those who will be attending today, and even some of those playing, were not even born.

Graeme Baxter is a member of Dunfermline Tartan Army:

Later in the week Scotland head to Wembley to take on England, before returning to Hampden next Tuesday to face Croatia in their final group match.

Many bars are expected to show the matches, but Covid-19 regulations mean that special Euro 2020 events cannot be promoted.

Fans have also been urged to stick to health advice when gathering in public spaces or at home.
