Fifers are being urged to watch out for counterfeit banknotes.
A number of the fake 20-pound notes have been circulating in the Glenrothes area.
They're Clydesdale and Bank of England notes.
Community Sergeant Kenny Greig says they are good quality fakes, but there are some noticeable faults:
