Elie and Earlsferry has been named within the top 10 Scottish places to live in a major annual guide.
The Sunday Times Best Places to Live 2020 describes the East Neuk town as a location with 'a rich shoreline and thriving community spirit'.
Judges assessed many factors including schools, transport and green spaces.
Leith came top and has been described as a 'breath of fresh air'.
Dundee, Dunblane and North Berwick also featured among the top 10.
Sunday Times Home Editor Helen Davies said: "Never has where you live felt more important.
"This year we have, along with house prices, air quality, good schools and access to green spaces, championed locations that have showcased great community spirit.
"The feeling of involvement in and concern for one's local community is being challenged - and celebrated - as never before."
