More than 52 million interactions about the general election have taken place on Facebook this year.
Since the first of January, the economy has been the hottest conversation topic across the country, followed by Europe, immigration and health.
Research also shows that the most talked-about political party in the UK is UKIP. In Scotland, more voters are talking about the Conservatives, that's followed by Labour and the SNP.
