Driving Up Voter Turnout

A new consultation is aiming to encourage more people to vote in Scotland.

'Scotland's Electoral Future' is asking for views on how to increase turnout at Local Government and Scottish Parliament elections.

Extending the voting age to 16 and 17 year olds on a permanent basis is also under consideration.
