The legacy of a Fife family play farm will live on thanks to the Scottish Deer Centre.
It's bought Muddy Boot's trading name, and all its play equipment for an undisclosed sum. The farm's donkeys and goats will also be moving.
It plans to install as much of it as possible in one area of the park near Cupar, some by next month and the rest after Christmas.
Muddy Boots is closing in just under two weeks time, having made the announcement last month.
Locals were devastated when the announcement was made last month but owners Paddy and Treina Hartell said they wanted to make changes so they could spend more time with their children.
David Hamilton and Gavin Findlay saved the Scottish Deer Centre and Wildlife Park from administration two years ago and have added new attractions including an ex-RAF jet.
In a statement on social media the park said: "We are delighted to announce that Muddy Boots Fife’s play equipment and animals have a new home.
"The legacy lives on and we will be sure to do Treina, Paddy and the rest of the family proud."
Local residents and Muddy Boots fans have reacted since the news of the sale broke this morning (Monday, October 2), saying that childhood memories have been saved and they can't wait to visit.
