An 800-year era ends at Cupar Sheriff Court today when it shuts its doors for the last time.
Work from the court will be transferred to Dundee.
There's still ill feeling about the closure - one sheriff has claimed it won't be the disaster that had sometimes been predicted.
But one lawyer has described it as another kick in the teeth for Cupar.
But local MSP Willie Rennie says Cupar will bounce back.
