Council Defends Latest Turbine Plans

Fife Council's defending its latest plans for wind turbines.

The council is applying to install seven of them at major sites in the region, including Halbeath Park and Ride and Pitreavie Playing Fields.

Anti-turbine group SPOT Fife says the locations are "unsuitable" and could run at a loss.

But the local authority insist the turbines could generate more than 11-million pounds.
