Coronavirus has most fatal impact in Kirkcaldy Central, according to data

New data shows where coronavirus has had the most impact in Fife between March and June.

The figures from National Records of Scotland from their 'intermediate zones' show Kirkcaldy Central had the highest rate of deaths from Covid-19 per head of population.

A map published on The Courier's website shows 14 people in that area died from the virus.

Some other areas in the Kingdom where coronavirus has caused deaths include Cowdenbeath North, Kincardine, Saline and Gawkhall and Oakley, Comrie and Blairhall.

Leuchars and Guardbridge, alongside Thornton and Kinglassie, didn't see any deaths at all within that time period.
