Convict Rates Revealed

The number of young Scots reoffending is down, according to official figures.

Overall, the rate for 2012-13 is down 1% on the previous year.

A 6% drop in under 21s committing crimes is behind the improvement.

Latest official figures show the average number of reconvictions per offender has decreased by nearly 6% between 2011-12 to 2012-13.
