An Inverkeithing mother has spoken of her pain and anger after thieves targeted her baby daughter's grave twice in just months.
Ruby Mae Clark died in April after being born prematurely at just 25 weeks. She weighed one pound and two ounces and passed away aged 54 days.
Days after her burial at Hillend Cemetery, flowers were stolen from her grave.
Her family suffered further heartache at the weekend when they visited Ruby's resting place to discover an 18 inch stone rabbit had been ripped from the headstone and stolen. Police officers are conducting searches online in the event that someone is trying to sell the rabbit.
We've been speaking to her mum, Suzanne Wilson:
Police Scotland have confirmed they're investigating the theft at Hillend Cemetery.
Inspector Ian Flynn of Fife Division said: "Between 4th October and 11th October 2014 part of a childs headstone was stolen from Hillend Cemetery in Fife. The part was made of stone and was in the shape of a rabbit. This has obviously been extremely upsetting for the family involved and stretches the realms of belief that any individual could commit such a despicable act.
"I would appeal to anyone with information on either the perpetrator of the crime or the current location of the headstone to contact Police Scotland on 101 or through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
