The Forth Road Bridge's 50th anniversary is being marked by major celebrations later.
A festival celbrating the milestone will be capped off with a night of music featuring Fife act Big Country, fireworks and a torchlit procession by 2000 people.
The crossing will be shut briefly as torchbearers make their way from North to South Queensferry.
