Police in Fife are investigating after a large-scale cannabis cultivation was recovered in Dunfermline on Friday.
Officers carried out a search in a property on Halbeath Road where cannabis plants were discovered inside.
The seized drugs have an estimated value of around £197,000.
Detectives are now inquiring as to the identity of those responsible for the cultivation.
Detective Sergeant Kelly McEwan from West Fife CID said: “This is a huge recovery of cannabis, which has been seized before it could make its way into our communities and we are now actively targeting the individuals who were growing these plants.
“We will continue to act on information relating to drug crime and if you have any information in relation to this cultivation, or any other ongoing criminal activity then contact us on 101 or make an anonymous report through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
